These witchetty grubs were found in our garden. They are the biggest witchetty grubs I have ever seen! They were at least 8 cm long and 2cm in diameter. Apparently they can grow up to 12cm. They can be eaten cooked or uncooked and they taste like almonds, eggs and some people even say they taste like chicken! They are a good source of energy and are very high in protein.
