hungry gecko

These small lizards can sometimes be seen climbing along the walls and ceilings of people's houses at night. They are on the hunt, stalking insects that are attracted to the lights. This gecko was a regular visitor outside our kitchen window at night - he was fed quite well!

our visitor

This possum used to live in our roof. He would sleep all day (as possums are nocturnal) and run around on the roof most of the night jumping onto trees, keeping us awake. Some possums have very strong, long tails that act like an extra arm an hold onto a branch.

Ryo and Skippy

This picture was taken a few years ago when we first moved back to Australia. We went to Australia Zoo with Marc and Aya and had a great time. Ryo likes to say about this picture..

"Nic turned into a kangaroo and now we are discussing how to deal with the situation"

little wallaby

Hello everyone, I just wanted to share this picture with you. This little wallaby was in our back yard happily eating our plants. We often see wallabies very early in the morning and late in the afternoon. They love to eat grass and small plants.

Green Tree Frog

One day I looked in a bucket of water and saw this lovely green tree frog relaxing, just like he was floating in a swimming pool. Then he tried to climb out of the bucket so I was able to get a closer photo of him. I gave him a nick name..I called him Garret. Isn't he beautiful!!
